Job Responsibilities:

Used Car Manager - DOMESTIC

Our dealership is looking for a Pre-owned Vehicle Manager / Used Car Sales Manager to lead our pre-owned vehicle department. In this position, you are responsible for managing our used vehicle inventory, which involves appraisals, researching, purchasing, and pricing all manner of used vehicles. Responsibilities also include merchandising, supervision of the reconditioning process, analyzing (and controlling) costs on potential street purchased units. You also oversee the sales staff, helping them meet monthly goals, and encouraging leadership development within your team. You will not only manage your inventory of more than $3,000,000, but you'll also desk and close deals on the sales floor.

This position takes strong communication and relationship management skills to get the most out of your employees and the best deal from wholesale dealerships. You should also have an intense dedication to detail and an unfailing work ethic. Our ideal candidate has prior experience with used cars, preferably in a supervisory role. A bachelor's degree in business is beneficial.

Lot Attendant / Porter

Job Description

The Lot Attendant / Porter is a position which trains personnel to assume the role of Inventory Manager.

This challenging entry-level position helps ensure complete customer satisfaction by maintaining our vehicles and the lot in a highly organized fashion. The Lot Attendant oversees the delivery of vehicles to the dealership, organizes vehicles on delivery or following sales to maximize the use of lot space and keep the lot in order, and services cars to maintain a spotless appearance for customers.

The Lot Attendant / Porter ALSO takes photos of all vehicles and manages their upload to our servers. Consequently, the ideal candidate will have a good eye for detail, and be able to use phone cameras or other electronic devices proficiently. The ideal candidate will have basic computer proficiency and familiarity with the internet and should be extremely open to being trained with the technology of all sorts.

The ideal candidate has a high energy level, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and a valid driver's license. He or she must have great communication and customer service skills, strong organizational and problem-solving skills, and a positive attitude. Candidates should be able to drive both manual and automatic transmissions and safely maneuver vehicles in tight and small spaces.
